Who runs this site

This network is operated by Cacao Republic Co., Ltd. ("CRC").
Registered address and contact for data requests: [to be added by Cacao Republic before launch].

Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time code. It is never shown to other members.
The profile you write: name, role, country, province or state, languages, what you need and offer, and optional contact details.
What you post: asks and offers, replies, recommended places, events, RSVPs, contact requests, messages and reports.
Basic session data needed to keep you signed in (session token, IP address and browser type).

Your profile appears in the directory only if you choose to make it public.
Contact details are shown only to members whose contact request you accept.
Messages are visible only to the two people in the conversation. Admins can see reported content to moderate it.
Private posts and saved items are visible only to you.

We don't sell your data or share it with partners automatically.
We don't ask for farm coordinates, income or ID documents, and ask you not to post them or phone numbers in public posts.

When you register for a forum we collect your name and phone number, who you are (grower, buyer, investor, cacao lover or other), and — if you choose — your organisation and email. We use them to check you in and contact you about that event.
Only Cacao Republic event staff see the registration list. It is not shown in the member directory.
We send news about the network and future events only if you ticked that box.
Registration records are deleted 12 months after the event unless you joined the network. To change or delete yours sooner, contact Cacao Republic.

Edit your profile, make it private, delete any post, withdraw requests, or download all your data from My page.
"Delete all my data" permanently removes your account and everything linked to it.
